Our essential oil comes from the zest of the Melanesian Macroptere (shatkora). Macroptere is genetically related to kaffir lime.

Our oil is extracted from the mature fruit in December/January in Portugal. The essential oil is composed of limonene and caryophyllene,  giving it a rich spicy note. This essential oil has similarities yet is more creamy and unexpected than the kaffir lime fruit essential oil.
