Mysterious Asian citrus fruit

There are more citrus species in Asia than anywhere else in the world.

But the tradition of extracting essential oils exists in the Near East and the

Mediterranean . Perfumery tends to play with the tiny Mediterranean repertoire.

Our idea is to expand the range of perfumes with citrus from the orchards of Japan, China, South Asia and Malaysia that grow here in Portugal.

This morning we made kinokuni flower water, a Chinese mini-tangerine very different from the tangerine, an attractive pleasure like in Nanfeng, which is reminiscent of ginger. Incredible.
